Woof

Time is a window through which the variable light of change shines through to give us vision in the rooms of our lives. The walls of my own life are inexorably closing in, forcing me closer to the window such that I know I will eventually be forced to climb through it to another experience (or not) altogether. It is too bright to see what lies on the other side, so I can only hope that as I climb (back?) out this window I don’t bark my shins on the sill, doggone it.

Window of Reflection

Conditions of reality catch my attentions and ease them down to lay like puddles on the sidewalk of my morning. I reflect upon the surface properties of such considerations and vie for a complementary aspect to draw forth creative endeavors toward the ocean of your eyes. Go fish.

Medallion of Light

I worked on this drawing most of the weekend and finished it this afternoon. I’m too tired to be very creative in writing, so I will let my visual art shine on its own. I call this style of color-in drawing ‘noodle’ designs, as the wild and loopy lines seem like noodles. Not to deep, eh? I edited and restructed a noodle drawing to make it a complex, center oriented mandala style picture to color in. I did the noodles with metallic and flourescent markers and the background with regular markers. It looks great as is here, but the reflective metallics and the natural light activated flourescents come alive on the original! I’m posting a scan, but the special effects aren’t visible. Still, it’s pretty cool. The work is four inches square.
